The Sequoia Parks Conservancy readies to hold their Dark Sky Festival, which allows park visitors to learn more about the cosmos and see it with their own eyes on Sept. 9

SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK – Those tired of starless skies should make their way to Sequoia and Kings Canyon for a night of stargazing and cosmic presentations.

The Sequoia Parks Conservancy (SPC) plans to “Highlight the Starlight” on Sept. 9 by hosting their annual Dark Sky Festival in both Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Starting at 10 a.m., the SPC and parks service will be hosting 40 events across three different locations.
