Hip oasis with solitude
Better than advertised! Beautifully appointed, super comfortable beds, terrific appliances, well stocked kitchen. The sound of the Kaweah River soothes the soul. The outdoor fire pit is a great place to unwind and share the events of the day. Our two dogs absoulety loved the river and were graciously thought of by the property hosts.. We look forward to staying again.

Serenity on the River
Beautiful and very relaxing vacation home. Everything was provided for and then some. If you want to get away from it all and be surrounded by nature this is the place. Great place for children to play. Plenty of rocks to climb, clean water to swim in and plenty of sand to play in. We just wish the grandkids had been with us to enjoy the place. Looking forward to our next visit and we will be bringing the grandkids. By the way our Yorkie loved chasing the lizards and swimming in the river.

Sublime Escape
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. When we arrived early, Maria graciously welcomed us with cold water and an invitation to enjoy the river while she finished preparing the houses for our stay. My wife and I and two adult sons stayed in the main house and my oldest son stayed in the guest house with his wife and two small children. The attention to detail on this property is amazing and most appreciated. Fountains, birdhouses, wind chimes and garden art line the landscaped paths.The houses were beautifully decorated and fully stocked with anything and everything we could have needed or wanted. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the scenery was gorgeous. With the daytime temperature up to 102 degrees, the river was refreshing and gentle enough for the 3 year old and 8 month old to thoroughly enjoy themselves. We had the opportunity to hike to Franklin Lakes, raft down the river, kayak on the Lake Kaweah and lounge on the property. It was a pleasure preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen and dining either in the dining room and on one of the two patios. Our family had a most excellent time. Thank you for hosting us.

We were blown away by the house and location! Every little thing had been well thought out and was done stylishly and with class. Hands down the nicest AirBnB we had every stayed in. Although it was hot out, it was just a skip and a hop down to the river to cool off. You will not be disappointed at Chris's place.

Beautiful, Whimsical and Magical…
It is difficult to find words to describe this property. The home was beautiful, clean, comfortable, well-decorated, and had all the amenities we needed and so much more. There are many wonderful spaces to discover inside and out. Even as were were checking out, I discovered something I hadn’t noticed before. There was beauty and whimsy everywhere I looked…the gardens, the seating areas, the multiple swings, hammocks, fire pits, and the river! The river! We loved playing in the river. The water at the little beach on the other side of the rocks was protected and a wonderful place to hangout. We played, we fished, we skipped rocks, we splashed, we talked, we drank, and we just soaked in our environment. Working with Chris was great! When we arrived, we found chips and fresh made salsa waiting for us as well as fresh fruit and herbs from the garden. The home is located minutes from the entrance of Sequoia so we were able to take day trips easily. It was very hard for our family to leave. Young and old, we all enjoyed Sequoia Falls and hope to return. Thank you Chris!

One with Nature
The location could not be better being right next to river. What sets this property apart from others is the way they have designed everything to make you feel a part of the surroundings. There are numerous spots to sit and enjoy the serenity of the river flowing by. Deer would visit as well as bluebirds and hummingbirds. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to make our family vacation very special. They had three different refrigerators, so plenty of space to store food to cook. All of the beds were very comfortable. They had a nice TV, which we did not use because it was so much nicer to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the view and talking to family. . ATT cell service worked as well as the WiFi. Chris was a very accommodating host and answered our questions promptly. It was only a few miles from the park entrance, but took a while to drive to hiking areas on the two lane road with some construction in one area. Be sure to hike early to avoid the crowds and find a parking spot. You will be very pleased if you book this house.

Wonderful Week! Amazing Home with Everything you could want!
My friends and I spent the week at the amazing Sequoia Falls home in Three Rivers. From the moment we drove past the gate and walked to the front door we knew this place was perfect. Not only was it an amazing location right on the river but the house itself was beautifully designed and very well thought of. The owner's thoughtfulness was amazing and every detail was greatly appreciated The house has all of the amenities that you could need while staying in a rental: Coffee, Tupperware, Gas BBQ, etc. Hopefully, I will have the joy of getting to visit Sequoia Falls again in the future. If you have the chance to stay here DO NOT MISS IT.

The feeling of relaxation and happiness overtake everything else as soon as you see the iron gate...
Our family spent a perfect and memorable 5 days at Sequoia Falls celebrating my parents’ 50 year anniversary. My parents love the outdoor but don’t have the health to go to it and we were glad we brought it to them with Sequoia Falls. The 8 of us has plenty of room to roam and explore , inside and outside! The house is clean, open and inviting with every corner of the space designed and decorated with the personal touches and details that you’d find in a loving home and never expect in a rental property. The kitchen is more fully stocked than most homes I’ve seen. The beds are super comfortable with probably 20 inch memory foam mattresses. Bathrooms and showers are so clean and, yes, we did use the sauna once! There are so many sitting areas outside for families to congregate, including the fire ring for s’mores by the campfire. The best part is the river frontage that comes with this property. The water is so clear and cool, offering to best swims on the summer days. Our son even caught a fish! We were there 5 days and only left the property once to go into the Sequoia National Park which is 4mi away. Chris has created magical spaces like this before with Kaweah Falls which we were lucky enough to have had stayed at 4 years ago. That was our most favorite vacay rental until Sequoia Falls. The feeling of relaxation and happiness overtake everything else as soon as you see the iron gate. There’s so much to say about this home that can’t fit into a review. Just see the photos and watch the video of the place, then multiply all that awesomeness by 10. Sequoia Falls, just like its predecessor Kaweah Falls, should be in the Better Homes & Gardens magazines. We can’t wait to come back!

As my almost four year old stated so perfectly upon arrival, "This place is a little piece of heaven."
As my almost four year old stated so perfectly upon arrival, "This place is a little piece of heaven." We were welcomed by a big bowl of chips and homemade salsa, the home open and ready for us. There are beautiful little touches everywhere you look. Hammocks, swings, meditation benches...and of course the river which is with you everywhere you go. It feels quite epic. The beds are super comfortable (love that there are multiple king beds!) and there is privacy for everyone should you want it. Kitchen is well stocked. We loved the fire pits. I have zero complaints and cannot wait to return. Thank you for creating this special place, the perfect recharge for the urban dweller!

We enjoyed a lovely, relaxing three nights at Three Rivers. Even the great photos on airbnb did not prepare us for the beauty of the location and high quality of the home itself. A welcoming basket of fruits plus other snacks helped us unwind from the drive in. Our party of seven gives this home the highest possible recommendation, and hope to return in the near future.

Amazing Place

Everything about Sequoia Falls and the host was top-notch!
I loved that it was down by the river and so close to the entrance of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, but the best part was the place as it was wonderfully furnished and stocked. The host kept in constant communication, usually within a few hours, and was able to give us helpful advice. Booking is pricey but so worth it, especially with a group because the house (and guest house) definitely has enough space.

Truly Special
It's hard to put into words just how special this home is. It's certainly beautifully designed with more places to rest and relax than any home I've been in, but it's all the plants and nature and roaring river that spoke to my heart. If you're considering it, do no hesitate. This place is truly magical. You won't want to leave. I cried when I had to.

A nice retreat with great friends
Three couples just returned from yet another great time at 3 Rivers thanks to this wonderful, picture perfect home "The Sequoia Falls". Chris thinks of everything you might need during your stay and has it all at your fingertips. The home is beautiful inside and out with sitting places to relax, read and gather for conversation all throughout the property. All 3 couples rent homes all over the world and this is going down at one of the best yet! So relaxing and the travel (we flew) from San Diego is so easy which is an added bonus. We all can't wait to return and enjoy it all over again! Thanks for sharing your special place for us to enjoy. I don’t think there is a better home to stay in anywhere near Sequoia. There’s an absolute calm that takes over your hurried over stimulated mind almost immediately. Be prepared to fall in love with this place . Be prepared to ask if you can stay a few extra days.
