A wonderful and luxurious experience.
We have rented dozens of houses over the years (lucky us!) and this is, by far, the most stylish and best appointed we have ever stayed at. We were there in the winter, so did not enjoy the outside porch and river access much, but retook full advantage of the inside amenities, generous spaces, and stylish furniture. A wonderful and luxurious experience.

Excellent Experience
We rented this property for the Thanksgiving break. This property was immaculate. We really loved the style of the property and we were impressed by the attention to detail. There is ample room for sleeping and the living room is a warm and inviting place for the family to kick back and relax. Unfortunately for us, there was tons on snow in the mountains which meant road closures. Fortunately for us, we had this amazing property to keep us entertained. The house is modern and has everything you could ask for. A fully stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. The deck overlooking the river was amazing as was the beach. This property was much larger than we expected and was full of little surprises like a little citrus orchard, outdoor fire pit, beach area, etc. Chris was very response from the beginning and it really seemed like he cared about making his guests experience as memorable as possible. 5+ stars. Would definitely recommend this place and we are definitely planning on returning.

Better than you could ever imagine
This property is just wonderful, peaceful and everything you could ever ask for in a vacation rental. Every detail is considered and exceeds expectations. I have a elderly parents who were comfortable and able to get around easily. The kitchen it well stocked, the bed linens are soft and cozy. The decor was fantastic, comfortable and enjoyable. Truly I have no complaints. Thank you for a lovely lovely stay.

Magical getaway
What a magical getaway! Our family decided on family trip to Sequoia National Park in mid-Oct to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. Our plan was to use this property as a base and hike our way through different parts of Sequoia park as we have done in the past. This time though, we only hiked one day and spent the rest of the trip staycationing at this beautiful house. Spacious property with timeless mid-century aesthetics with modern amenities, flawless landscaping and gorgeous views. This house offered a much-needed relaxing vacation that not only rejuvenated our body, but also cleared our mind from stressful daily lives. By far, this was one of the best trips our family had taken in years. Our family all agreed to designate this spot as our annual family trip destination. Thank you Chris for your beautiful house. We will be back.

Incredible house
I almost don’t want a write a good review as I’d like to keep this hidden gem all for myself! The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is just incredible. The hosts and housekeeper were super sweet and helpful. I can’t wait to go back.

Sequoia Falls was everything we wanted whenever we want to leave LA behind for just a weekend with a group of friends. The river was perfect for viewing, listening, swimming, or skipping rocks. The place was so well equipped, we made lunch and dinner everyday. We also celebrated a big decade birthday – everything was magical. We look forward to coming back.

If you are looking for a place in the Sequoia area or even if you are not specific about location but just want an amazing place to stay, you have got to without a doubt rent this house. Not even the most difficult to please will be disappointed. This place is amazing from the decor, to the spa like smells the soaps give off, to the expense that went into every detail and then the outdoor space. Can you say best private river in the area. They scored on this property. Best house on the river to bet! Again, I guarantee you will not be disappointed and if you think it is too expensive, ask 3 other couples to go and everyone will have their own bedroom and bathroom with plenty of room to still have private moments. Just do it!!!!

We visited Chris' place in August with a group of our close friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. The house is absolutely incredible and the pictures (although amazing) don't do it justice! We were extremely comfortable and the amazing views throughout the property of the river and surrounding mountains was so peaceful. It was very hot outside but it didn't bother us since we could go between the cool AC in the house and easily hop down to the river, which had a perfect spot to relax and float in, near the house. We would love to stay again and highly recommend Chris' hospitality and the property!

Best Vacation and Rental Home Ever!!
My family all agreed that this was the best trip and vacation ever! The owner has done such a beautiful job decorating and providing such a warm and welcoming home. One word kept coming up for the entire week of our stay--"intentional beauty." We all noticed that wherever you looked there was something attractive to look at, and we were repeatedly impressed with the perfectly situated seating throughout the home, landscaping, and along the river! Our two dogs also really enjoyed the river and all the extra treats and special considerations for their comfort. We will definitely be returning to this home whenever possible!

What a fantastic house! Out family had a wonderful time. The property is gorgeous and the house is fabulous, with very thoughtful hosts. This is a great base camp for Sequoia National Park--although you may be tempted to just hang out and relax by the river for the day. Highly recommended!

Amazing, beautiful, and spacious property right on the river.
This property is right on the river with plenty of spaces inside and out. Inside, there are clean and modern restrooms. The master restroom has huge roll in shower and jacuzzi tub. It was convenience for my parents, who use walkers, especially with the available teak shower chair there. Each bedroom has its own sitting small reading corners if anyone wishes to have a private space. The living room has glass walls/door to ceiling where ones can see the river on side and admire the beautiful backyard on the other side. The property has a kitchen at the main house plus a butler room to prep foods. Across the walkway, it has laundry and another refrigerator. The back house has its half kitchen. The outside surrounding is spacious and beautifully setup to relax or hang out day or night. We all loved the outdoor shower. My parents could not go down to the river but they could see us in the river from the lanai. We brought a small bucket of river water to soak their feet so they could feel the clear, fresh, cold water. Their smiles were priceless. The website's pictures capture 70% of this property's beauty. We are planning to return next summer.
